I have a lot planned.
As someone who has a list of projects I would like to finish, I need artists for all of them. I will be listing them below. If you are not chosen for the herbal book, there is always a chance you will be chosen for another or recommended to friends who are looking for artists.

I had to follow up with this after I got a lot of responses.
What am I looking for in terms of my book?
A cover
This is for a non-fiction book about herbs, specifically how you can use your cooking herbs as first aid and other medicinals.
On the left is my attempt at making a cover for my book. I don’t really like it.
I would much prefer a kitchen scene with a teapot on the stove, a visible spice rack, and herbs in pots in a kitchen window.
I need it in a realistic style.
You will be given credit for the cover of the book. Please, include the name you are comfortable using as well as how to get in touch with you.
Herb pictures
I will be needing 68 pictures of herbs. They must include the Latin classification as well as common names of the herbs. I will also need them in a format I can use to place them on index cards for quick reference.
Your name, the one you are comfortable using, must be on each picture. I wish to give you credit for your work, even though I am purchasing the art.

Take a Shadowrun World and have it meet a D&D world, and you have my novel series.

I will need covers for this series. I have no clue how many novels will be writing for this one. The ones I have on the slate are as follows:
Meet The Tygnows-–Cover needs to be of a Woman looking through a magical portal
Cowboy Out Time-A World building book—Cover needs to be of a cowboy with a cyber leg sitting by a campfire in the desert.
The Chosen- World Building Book—Female half-elf rogue with her Paladin father.
Masie and the Treasure Map
I will need a cover artist and illustrator for each chapter. This is a children’s book. You can find it here. You can get a feel of what I want from the chapters.
Shorty Story Compilation
Stories from an ADD Mind
This will be a compilation of the finished short stories. Each story will need an illustration to introduce it as well as a cover for it. At this time, I will need four illustrations and a cover. You can find the stories here.

EDIT:I don’t have a timetable set up to finish my herbal. I am expecting to be done with the manuscript before September. Once finished and run by an editor, I will be launching the Kickstarter.
It is my priority. I do have the skeleton put up for the Kickstarter. You will not be formally approached to do the drawings until the manuscript is finished and edited. This is when I will launch my Kickstarter. Once it is fully funded, I will pay you to start the work.
I will pay you half upon starting the project and the second half once I am satisfied with the finished work.
I will contact you whether or not I choose you. If you are chosen and have chosen more than one project, I will let you know what project on which you will be working.

EDIT: If chosen, you will be kept in the loop as to how close I am to finishing the manuscript. After the manuscript is finished, the Kickstarter will be launched.
The cancer update…
It’s here to stay…
There are many people out there under the impression that there are two types of cancer, the cancer you can get rid of and the cancer that kills you.
I was today old when I found out that my aggressive cancer is the kind that brings bags, picks a room, and mooches off me for life. That’s right. It’s a permanently unwanted guest that tends to knock on the walls and raise a stink.
This type of cancer can be managed, but there is a damn good chance it will never move out. It can only be contained, and it might even shrink.
On June 6, I will have a port inserted for the next round of chemo. This next round will include three different chemo treatments per infusion for 3-4 infusions. I will lose my hair, which means I am either starting my villain arc or I will be primed for a gender-bent Lex Luthor cosplay without the pleasant undertones.
They are not removing my uterus, which would big a huge punch in my cancer’s ass because it would reduce my quality of life and because they also found a glowing lymph node on the last PET scan. They are afraid removing it will reduce my sexual comfort and possibly cause the cancer to spread.
I would give anything, my soul excluded, to evict the fucker, but I have to learn to coexist with the thing.
