Well, the time has come. I have been silent on this blog for a little too long, and I am sorry about that. Due to the rising cost of well, everything, and freight slowing down at hubby’s job, I have procured a part-time job.
So, I decided to drop in and give you guys an update.
Where have I been?
Well, I have gotten a part-time job through a temp agency that I hope will turn into a permanent one. It is a music center that is non-profit, and the people are pretty nice. It’s four hours a day Monday – Friday with holidays off.
It is in the middle of my day. This means making more adjustments to my writing and YouTube content schedule.

As most of you know, I am keeping an eye on my mom and living with her until we can hopefully afford a place of our own.
This and having a P/T job presented problems the first couple of weeks as half an hour after I got home, she would want to go out, and by the time we got back from errands and eating, I was spent, no energy to even string two words together.
When I would act impatient, all I got from her was, “It’s not like we have anything important to do.”
-.-
I have devised a plan…
I asked and my supervisor said I could use one of the practice rooms to record my YouTube content. I also got a library card.
This is the plan. Wish me luck.
Mondays and Wednesdays: I get up at 5 AM to drink coffee and work on my stories. These are also the days I will be using the practice room to record.
Mondays-Thursdays:
Edits at the Library with uploads on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Hamster impersonation at the gym (treadmill).
If this works, I will add another recording day possibly at the library, but only if one of their rooms is available. I don’t want to take full advantage of the music center. They are being very generous as it is.
So, this will be my life for the foreseeable future. If the temp job remains a temp job, then I will have to make more adjustments. Hang in there with me.
I am trying to get everything on SOME sort of schedule.
Stay Geeky!
