Looking in the mirror I see
The girl I can no longer be.
Gone are the days of carefree days.
Work, bills, and chores have taken their place.
I see, instead, a woman there,
With lines of worry and much wear.
One who has tales that she’s told,
And scars she carries of battles old.
Her heart has seen its share of sorrow,
But she would not trade it or a new one borrow.
It’s made her who she is today,
And with God’s grace, she goes through her day.
Until Next Time, God Bless
